Life Series: Financial Planning

Need to balance your budget? Want to figure out how to manage your debt? Then come to this free financial workshop hosted by OMSA in partnership with the Booth School of Business. This free workshop is facilitated by Charisse Conanan and Adrissha Wimberly from the Booth School of Business.
About the facilitators:
Charisse Conanan is co-founder and CEO of Mystones LLC. Charisse is a second-year student concentrating in entrepreneurship and strategic management at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Charisse worked for 6 years at JPMorgan Asset Management, first as an assistant to a client portfolio manager and then for 4.5 years on an investment team managing U.S. mid-cap value equities. Charisse controlled 18% of the $10 billion fund focusing on health care, insurance, and utility stocks. Charisse conducted specialized research and made buy/sell investment decisions for the fund based on quantitative DCF and qualitative analysis. In addition, she actively visited and hosted management teams (CEO, CFO, etc.) of the portfolio company to further understand the competitive positioning and cash strategies. Charisse obtained her B.A. from Yale University, where she double-majored in American Studies and Economics.

Adrissha Wimberly is co-founder and COO of Mystones LLC. Adrissha is a second-year student concentrating in entrepreneurship and finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

As COO, Adrissha has defined a strategy for the technology development and is focused on setting the multiple business milestones that will support the company’s growth. Prior to Booth, Adrissha worked at Bear Stearns & Co, Inc. as Vice President where she managed the development of the company’s risk management system. Additionally, Adrissha has experience marketing unique financial solutions to a targeted section of the bank’s clients and leading face-paced, entrepreneurial corporate environments. Adrissha graduated from Howard University with a B.S. in chemistry (cum laude) and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
