OMSA's Mentoring Program Kick-Off October 12th!

The Chicago Multicultural Connection (CMC), is holding its annual Kick-Off Orientation and Reception on Monday, October 12th from 7-9pm at 5710 S. Woodlawn. If you are an undergraduate student who is interested in working with a mentor or a graduate student interested in serving as a mentor, please attend this event! Students will have an opportunity to meet with new and current mentors and mentees and find out more about the program. The time commitment for the program is minimal, but the rewards are great! You may sign-up for the program in advance or on the day of the kick-off. The Chicago Multicultural Connection (CMC), a career-focused mentoring program, is looking for student participants for the 2009-2010 school year! CMC matches undergraduate students of color with alumni, faculty, staff or graduate students who share similar career interests and goals. Along with one-on-one mentorship, the program provides career and academic workshops as well as social and cultural events throughout the year.
